Dr. Hyungwon Kang from Seoul, South Korea
Dr. Hyungwon Kang is a Korean Medicine Neuropsychiatry professor
of Wonkwang University Sanbon Hospital near Seoul.
He is the chief vice chairman of the Korean Society of Oriental Neuropsychiatry,
the chief vice chairman of the Korean Medicine Society of Rare Incurable
and Severe Disease, the director of the Institute of Korean Arts Therapy,
and the professional director of the Korean Society of Stress Medicine.
Dr. Kang also is an M & L (Mindfulness & Loving presence) psychotherapy trainer,
practicing mindfulness and loving presence in his clinic and trying to scientifically prove it through QEEG
and HRV in clinical research.
The major disorders Dr. Kang treats are
PTSD, depression, Hwabyeong - a Korean somatization disorder related to
anger, panic disorder, and dementia,
and he uses acupuncture, herbal medicine, and psychotherapy.
